Felixstowe, the "Resort with a Port". An Edwardian resort that has retained its charm over the ages. The sea front is over 4 miles long, with an excellent paved promenade level (in places) with the sand and shingle beach.
There are many events and activities throughout the year, and the Spa Pavilion Theatre has a lively programme of good entertainment.
There is also a local musem, historic fort, nature reserve and leisure centre on the sea front. There are plenty of restaurants and cafes to cater for all tastes.
The Spa Gardens are well tended and are a riot of colour from spring until autumn and the Town regularly wins recognition from "East Anglia in Bloom" competition.
